I started Galaxy74.com because of my love of all things 70s and 80s. I was born in 1974 and was a teenager in the 1980s. I vividly remember the excitement from having a couple of dollars in my pocket as I walked into the arcade. The sights and sounds of dozens of arcade cabinets simultaneously broadcasting their "attract" intros was music to my ears. Afterward, grabbing a slice of pizza and sitting in the mall food court area was perfection.

Being a programmer and a nerd, I built this site in Shopify as a learning tool. My original plan was to create this site and develop a machine learning/AI algorithm for product recommendations. It started having a life of it's own so I ran with it.

My clothing line is also called Galaxy74. It features neo-retro designs inspired by the 1980s with a slightly modern twist. I only use the top-quality suppliers of clothing to ensure that the clothes you buy here will be enjoyed for years to come.
